Today is a very sad story.

I am not happy to write this.

But I suffered a great amount of stress and psychological issues.

All because of a rude, scammer and terrible experience in the Yambol region in Bulgaria.

If you are considering hiring Damo’s Gardening Services in the Yambol region, STOP RIGHT NOW – unless you want to be scammed, deceived, and left with an unfinished job after months of false promises. My experience with this so-called “gardener” has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I want to warn others before they fall into the same trap.

Broken Promises & Never-Ending Delays

I hired Damo for a gardening job that was supposed to be completed in summer 2024. Fast forward to March 2025, and guess what? Nothing has been done. Just a never-ending stream of excuses, false promises, and misleading claims. Every time I asked for updates, he reassured me that the work would be done “soon.” But “soon” never comes with Damo.

No Invoices, No Receipts – Just a Shady Business

Another major red flag is that Damo never provides invoices or receipts. A legitimate business should always provide proper documentation, but he conveniently avoids it, likely to evade taxes and accountability. If you pay him, good luck proving it.

Overpriced & Exploitative

Bulgaria is one of the cheapest countries in Europe, yet Damo charges outrageous prices for his so-called services. His rates are way above what’s reasonable, and the worst part? He doesn’t even deliver the job! He knows he is one of the very few gardeners in the area, so he takes full advantage of that to exploit customers.

Completely Untrustworthy & Unprofessional

Damo is a sweet talker, a master of excuses, but NOT a professional gardener. He does not know what he is doing and seems to make things up as he goes. He promises expertise and reliability, but in reality, he lacks the skills, the knowledge, and the work ethic needed for the job. Hiring him is a one-way ticket to frustration, wasted time, and lost money.

When confronted, he starts becoming rude : insulting you, calling you names, intimidating and threatening you.

Even made racist comments ...

I was shocked coming from a foreign person in Bulgaria ...

Final Verdict: STAY AWAY FROM DAMO!

I am writing this review because I do not want anyone else to fall victim to his scam.He takes your money and never delivers.He is not to be trusted. If you are looking for a gardener in the Yambol region, find someone else—ANYONE ELSE—just not him. Save yourself the stress, the disappointment, and the financial loss.
